Saugus High school coach Jeff Mitchell with volunteer coaches and Saugus High School girls Golf Team give the Middle School Golfers lessons, on Wednesday afternoon at Cedar Glen Golf Course. Jeff Mitchell the SHS boys and Girls golf coach started this program at the Middle School level six years ago. Mr. Mitchell says it is a learning program to get the students ready for High School Golf. He has seen many students start in Middle school, graduate SHS and some are now playing college golf. In the fall, Mr. Mitchell also offers an elementary program that the boys golf team help, mentor these future golf Saugonians.
